Support
Contact ScanMaster
One channel, deliberately: email. There is no support ticket system, no chatbot and no account to verify you against — which is exactly how we keep your documents out of the picture.
What makes a useful bug report
- The tool you used (page URL, e.g.
/tools/compress-pdf). - Your browser and version — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and the number.
- Rough file profile: type, page count, size. Not the file itself.
- What you expected, what happened, and any on-screen error text verbatim.
- Anything from the browser console (F12 → Console). Since all processing is local, the console message is usually the whole diagnosis — see the security page for why.
Requesting a tool
Tell us the job, not just the name — “I need to stamp a date range on scanned invoices” is far more useful than “add a PDF stamper”. We keep a roadmap and the closest existing tools are listed on the full directory; there are 238 of them, so a near-miss may already exist.
Reporting a security concern
If you believe a tool mishandles input in a way that could affect your browser or data, email us with “Security” in the subject line and we will investigate the local processing path. There is no server to compromise, which narrows the surface considerably.
Response times
ScanMaster is maintained by a small team, not a support department. Expect a reply within a few working days. If your issue is blocking urgent work, say so — we prioritise those.
