About XLSX to PDF

XLSX to PDF is on the roadmap and not working yet, and this page says so instead of leaving you with a dead button. Why it is not live yet: requires server-side LibreOffice engine. Everything else on this site runs in your browser today; the parts marked coming soon need capability a browser tab does not have.

Reach for it when building a PDF out of something that is not a PDF is a one-off rather than a workflow: one file, one result, no account in front of it.

How to use XLSX to PDF in 3 steps

  1. This tool is marked coming soon, so nothing here will convert or process a file — read the reason stated above before you spend time on it.
  2. Use the closest tool that does work today: it takes XLSX, so look for a live tool in Create & Convert to PDF.
  3. Bring the result back here for the rest of the job — merging, compressing, protecting or signing a finished file all work today.

What you get with XLSX to PDF

  • One job, done in the browser: microsoft Excel .xlsx workbooks converted to PDF.

  • No watermark or logo added to your output
  • Works on desktop and mobile, no install

XLSX to PDF: questions

Which file types does XLSX to PDF accept?
The drop area takes XLSX. Files are read from your device in the browser, so the format has to be one a browser can decode — that is why the accepted list on this page is finite and honest rather than "everything".
What do I get back from XLSX to PDF?
The result is PDF, offered as a download the moment the work finishes. Multiple results come back together rather than as fifty separate save dialogs.
Is there a file size limit?
A single file may be up to 100 MB, and a batch up to 50 files. Those are guardrails rather than a paid tier — the work happens on your machine, so an enormous document is limited by your own memory before it is limited by us.
Is it safe to use for a document with personal details in it?
That is the design goal: the document stays on your device, so a statement, a contract or an ID photo is never transmitted for processing. Nothing here needs an internet connection once the page has loaded, apart from engines that fetch their own model data.
