About Rotate PDF Pages

Rotate PDF pages 90°, 180° or 270° — all of them at once or only the ranges that came out of the scanner sideways. The rotation is written into the page itself, so the file prints and opens the right way up everywhere, not just on your screen.

Fixing the pages a scanner turned sideways before the document goes to anyone else.

How to use Rotate PDF Pages in 3 steps

  1. Drop the PDF whose pages are on their side.
  2. Select the pages or range to fix and pick the direction: 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise or 180°.
  3. Apply and download the corrected PDF.

What you get with Rotate PDF Pages

  • Rotate a single page, a range, or the whole document
  • Text stays selectable — only the page's rotation value changes
  • Works on scans straight from a flatbed scanner, where pages arrive sideways
  • Runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded
  • Free to use, with no signup and no account
  • No watermark or logo added to your output
  • Works on desktop and mobile, no install

Rotate PDF Pages: questions

Does rotating reduce the quality of the page?
No. Rotation changes a page attribute, it does not re-render or re-compress the content, so text stays crisp and scans keep their original pixels.
Can I rotate every page by an arbitrary angle, like 45°?
Rotation is offered in quarter turns, which is what documents need. A 45° skew is a deskew problem, not a page rotation, and is not what this tool does.
Why do my scanned pages come out upside down in the first place?
Most scanner drivers write a rotation flag that some PDF readers ignore. Rotating the page here rewrites the flag so every reader agrees.
