Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDFs into one document, in the order you choose.
About Merge PDF
Merge PDFs into one document without losing a page, a link or the text layer. Drop in up to 50 files, set the order you want, and the combined PDF is assembled in your browser tab — nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue and no size cap beyond a 100 MB-per-file safety limit.
Putting invoices, scans and statements into one file before you email them.
How to use Merge PDF in 3 steps
- Drop every PDF you want joined onto the drop area, or use Browse files to pick them.
- Drag the files into reading order — the list on the left is the page order in the output.
- Press Merge and download the single PDF that now holds all of them.
What you get with Merge PDF
- Page order is yours to set, not the order the file picker returned
- Text stays selectable and searchable in the merged file
- Bookmarks, form fields and links in the source files are preserved
- Runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded
- Free to use, with no signup and no account
- No watermark or logo added to your output
- Works on desktop and mobile, no install
Merge PDF: questions
- How many PDFs can I merge at once?
- Up to 50 files in one batch, each no larger than 100 MB. Because the work happens in your browser tab, the real ceiling is your machine's memory — if you hit it, merge in two rounds and join the results.
- Does merging keep the original page size and quality?
- Yes. Pages are copied as they are, so a landscape A3 page sits next to a portrait A4 page without either being resampled or re-rendered.
- Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
- Not while it is locked. Run Unlock PDF first — it takes the document password and gives you an unprotected copy — then merge that.
- Will the merged PDF be bigger than the originals combined?
- Usually slightly smaller, because shared resources and duplicate object tables are written once. If you need it much smaller, pass the result through Compress PDF.
