About Image Flipper

The job of Image Flipper is narrow on purpose: mirror images horizontally or vertically. It takes JPG, JPEG, PNG and 9 more and produces JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP. There is no account to open and nothing to wait in a queue for, because the work happens on your own machine.

Reach for it when editing a picture one job at a time is a one-off rather than a workflow: one file, one result, no account in front of it.

How to use Image Flipper in 3 steps

  1. Drop the image onto the drop area, or several at once up to 50 files.
  2. Set Mirror horizontally, Mirror vertically, or both.
  3. Press Apply Flip and download the result in whichever of JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP suits you.

What you get with Image Flipper

Image Flipper: questions

Which file types does Image Flipper accept?
The drop area takes JPG, JPEG, PNG and 9 more. Files are read from your device in the browser, so the format has to be one a browser can decode — that is why the accepted list on this page is finite and honest rather than "everything".
What do I get back from Image Flipper?
The result is JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, offered as a download the moment the work finishes. Multiple results come back together rather than as fifty separate save dialogs.
Is there a file size limit?
A single file may be up to 100 MB, and a batch up to 50 files. Those are guardrails rather than a paid tier — the work happens on your machine, so an enormous document is limited by your own memory before it is limited by us.
Does my file get uploaded?
No. The page reads the file through the browser's own file API and processes it in the tab. Closing the tab discards the working copy, which is why there is no storage to clear and no retention policy to read.
