About Insert Blank Pages
Insert Blank Pages is here for working with the page list of a document: add empty pages at any position. It takes PDF and produces PDF. If a run goes wrong there is nothing to chase: no job sitting on a server, no upload to ask anyone to delete.
Useful when the job is working with the page list of a document and you would rather not install software, join a queue or hand the file to a stranger.
How to use Insert Blank Pages in 3 steps
- Drop the file on the page — PDF, one file up to 100 MB.
- Set after which page the blank pages go, how many, and their page size.
- Press Apply and download the PDF result.
What you get with Insert Blank Pages
- One job, done in the browser: add empty pages at any position.
- Free to use, with no signup and no account
- No watermark or logo added to your output
- Works on desktop and mobile, no install
Insert Blank Pages: questions
- Is there a file size limit?
- A single file may be up to 100 MB, and a batch up to 50 files. Those are guardrails rather than a paid tier — the work happens on your machine, so an enormous document is limited by your own memory before it is limited by us.
- Does my file get uploaded?
- No. The page reads the file through the browser's own file API and processes it in the tab. Closing the tab discards the working copy, which is why there is no storage to clear and no retention policy to read.
- Will it work on a phone?
- Yes. The layout adapts to a small screen and the processing runs in the mobile browser, so a photo or a downloaded document can be handled on the device it arrived on.
- Why is it free?
- Because the expensive part — the server farm — does not exist. Processing runs on your device, so the site can stay free without a signup wall in front of it or an upsell in the middle of a job.
