Overlay PDF
Stamp one PDF on top of another (watermark PDF, second form).
About Overlay PDF
The job of Overlay PDF is narrow on purpose: stamp one PDF on top of another (watermark PDF, second form). It takes PDF and produces PDF. Nothing is sent anywhere: the browser reads the file, does the work and hands the result back.
The slow route to changing what is on the page is installing something, making an account and uploading the file; this is the fast route.
How to use Overlay PDF in 3 steps
- Drop the PDFs onto the drop area, up to 50 files at a time.
- Set the base PDF first and the overlay PDF second, and on which pages.
- Press Overlay PDFs and download the PDF result.

Overlay PDF: questions
- How big a file can I use?
- Up to 100 MB per file and 50 files per batch. There is no server queue behind that limit; the practical ceiling is your browser's memory, so split unusually large documents into two runs.
- Does my file get uploaded?
- No. The page reads the file through the browser's own file API and processes it in the tab. Closing the tab discards the working copy, which is why there is no storage to clear and no retention policy to read.
- Will it work on a phone?
- Yes. The layout adapts to a small screen and the processing runs in the mobile browser, so a photo or a downloaded document can be handled on the device it arrived on.
- Why is it free?
- Because the expensive part — the server farm — does not exist. Processing runs on your device, so the site can stay free without a signup wall in front of it or an upsell in the middle of a job.
