About Edit PDF
Edit a PDF on a canvas in your browser: add text boxes, drop in images, draw shapes, write freehand, and move or resize anything you placed. Undo and redo work per page, and the finished document is written out on your device rather than sent anywhere.
Correcting a name, adding a note or marking up a page you only have as a PDF.

- Drop the PDF you want to mark up onto the drop area.
- Use the toolbar to add text, an image, a rectangle, a line or a freehand stroke, then drag it into place.

Edit PDF: questions
- Can I change the existing words in a PDF?
- You can cover, correct and annotate: place a white-out box over the old text and type the new wording on top. Editing the original text object in place needs the source document, because a PDF stores positioned glyphs rather than editable paragraphs.
- Does the editor keep the file searchable?
- Yes — original text stays as text, and anything you type becomes real selectable text rather than a picture.
- Is there a page limit for editing?
- The same 100 MB per-file ceiling as everything else. Rendering many large pages is memory-hungry, so a very long document is faster to work on after Compress PDF.
