Whiteout PDF Areas: questions
- Can I process several files at once?
- Yes, up to 50 files in a batch, each no larger than 100 MB. Results come back together instead of one save dialog per file.
- Where does the processing actually happen?
- In this tab. The file is read locally, converted or edited locally, and handed back as a download — no copy is sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to breach or keep.
- What can't Whiteout PDF Areas do?
- Visual cover only — underlying data remains. Use Redact PDF for secure permanent removal. That limit is stated on the page and in the alert above the tool, not buried in a footnote.
- Will it work on a phone?
- Yes. The layout adapts to a small screen and the processing runs in the mobile browser, so a photo or a downloaded document can be handled on the device it arrived on.
